Winter is finally behind us and it’s time to brighten our classrooms with bright colors and fun crafts. Here are some spring craft ideas for your classroom.
Spring Craft Ideas for Your Classroom.
Bird Bulletin Board Craft-Put up a background of blue sky, grass, trees, and sun onto your bulletin board. Print off templates of birds and let your kids color them. You could even add feathers to make them more realistic. Add the birds to the trees. You could even add some musical notes by their beaks to indicate singing and add some squirrels by the trees.
Giant rainbow-Buy a roll of paper and let your kids paint a giant rainbow on it. Cut it off and when it dries, hang it up on the wall.
Reading Raindrops-Print out a large raindrop template on blue construction paper. Have each child tell you what their favorite book is and write it on a raindrop with their name. Cut out each raindrop and hang them from the ceiling of your classroom During the month of April, read each child’s book recommendation, taking each raindrop down as you go. Keep a list of all the books to make it easier to keep track.
